Inspired by the infamous Good and Bad Hair scene from the 1988 Spike Lee film, School Daze. Good Hair, the fashion story is an homage to Black film and a celebration of the beauty and diversity of Black women.

Colorism and texturism impacts our community in more ways than we’d like to admit. Often times our proximity to whiteness defines what we classify as beautiful. We continue to change this narrative and are owning back our stories. Black women, we are beautiful in all of our skin tones and in all of our variations of hair texture.
